Security gates – Security driveway gates add a finishing touch to a beautifully landscaped garden and
also offer extra security to your home and garden.
These can be standard gates or finished to a design of your choice.
The gates can be manually opened or automated for you convenience. We are able to offer a range of automation types:
Swing Gate Automation
All of our automation products can be fitted to existing gates if they are in good condition.
Any automated gate system can be operated by various methods including remote radio key-fob, intercom system, coded digital keypad and even from a mobile or land line telephone number. This means you can operate your gates for a visitor from anywhere your mobile phone has a signal – even whilst abroad.
Gate Mounted Arm Type Systems
In general this type of system is of a lower cost than the underground system.
We offer electro-mechanical systems as well as electro-hydraulic, in general the electro-mechanical system is the cheaper but has a limited amount of hourly use. This type of unit is ideally suited for individual properties; we would not recommend a mechanical operator for multi occupancy applications. Hydraulic units are more robust and can cope with a larger amount of use, they are ideally suited to heavier gates or multi user sites.
Underground Systems
This type of system offers a discrete solution which avoids altering the appearance of the gate. As with the on gate system we offer electro-mechanical and electro-hydraulic systems, electro-mechanical systems are cheaper but have limited amount of hourly use. Sliding Gate Automation
The use of a sliding gate may allow you to make better use of the space available in your entrance area. There are essentially two types of sliding gate available, our automation systems will operate either system.
Tracked Sliding Gate
This as the name suggests runs upon a track set into the ground across the entrance being controlled. A relatively level area is required for satisfactory installation.
Cantilevered Sliding Gate
This is useful when the entry area is not level or if you wish to install the gate without disturbing the drive surface.
Automated sliding gates run on a rack and pinion drive system, they are quiet in operation, reliable and offer a good degree of security. We offer a range of operators to drive gates from 300kg right up to the heaviest gates at 4000kg allowing us toclose virtually any opening width using a sliding gate providing that there is sufficient roll back area. All forms of access control can be employed to operate these automatic gates.
